Question: Can I upload a song to major streaming platforms using a beat I downloaded for free non-profit?

Answer: No. Free downloads for non-profit use = you can not upload to major streaming platforms (spotify, apple music, tidal, etc). You can upload (but not monetize) to soundcloud, youtube, social media. If you want to release the song you must purchase a lease.

Only if you purchase an exclusive license you can enable content ID on Youtube, otherwise you cannot.
